Data Architect (Head of the Data Management Expertise Center) in Ajax Systems

The position of Head of the Data Management Expertise Center requires the candidate to have deep knowledge in the development of data architecture, work with databases, integration tools and Big Data technologies. Essential skills include effective communication, leadership, analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams. The candidate must understand the business processes of enterprise data management and constantly update their knowledge of new technologies and trends in data architecture.

Experience Requirements

• Work experience: at least 7 years of experience in IT, of which at least 3-5 years as a data architect or in similar positions (Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, Big Data Architect, Big Data Manager).

• Industry experience: manufacturing, telecommunications, SaaS/cloud products.
• Project experience: experience working on large projects to develop and implement enterprise-level data architecture.
• Practical work : with all elements of enterprise architecture: data flow maps, data management standards, technical reference models, gap analysis.
• Experience in building architectural solutions: top-down aligned with business requirements and corporate view (business/data /integration/solutions/technologies).
• Practical use of modeling tools: Archimate, AdoIT, Enterprise Architect, MindMap, etc.
• Practical work with technologies of different classes and maturity: from obsolete to modern.

Technical skill requirements

• Data architecture: Deep knowledge in development and implementation data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Databases and Data Warehousing: Strong working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, database management systems (RDBMS), data warehouses, and cloud technologies.
• Data Integration: Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Big Data and Analytics: Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and data analytics tools .
• Data security and management: Understanding aspects of data security, data management and data protection policies.
• Knowledge of one of the enterprise architecture frameworks.

Soft Skills Requirements

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Ability to lead teams, take responsibility for projects and implement change.
• Problem thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems, find effective solutions and make strategic decisions.
• Cooperation: Ability to work in cross-functional teams, coordinate actions between different departments of the company.

Certificates

• Availability of professional certifications such as TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP or others confirming expert knowledge in the field of data architecture is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Development and support up to dateand the current model of the enterprise data architecture;
• Development of the target model of the enterprise data architecture;
• Planning and control of the implementation of the target enterprise data architecture;
• Assistance in the evaluation when purchasing IT - solutions, benchmarking with other organizations or standards related to data and data management;
• Participation in the selection and implementation of IT solutions.
• Creating a road map with all dependencies when transitioning from old systems data management to new ones.
