Data analyst of the Network Operation and Maintenance Department in DTEK, TOV, Energetichna kompaniya

We are looking for a Data analyst for the operation and maintenance of networks. 

• This unit supports processes related to repairs of electrical equipment (over 10,000 km of overhead and cable lines; over 600 substations of the 35-110(150) kV class). 
• The results of the activities of the accountability centers and services generate large data sets on the volume of work performed (repairs, time spent by crews and the efficiency of its use, time and resources spent on maintenance of power networks, energy consumed for technological needs, etc.).

We will be glad to see you in the team if you you have:

• Higher education (specialist, master), preferably in electrical engineering.
• Ability to create dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience with similar tasks (priority in the part of working with data arrays and building models based on them) - at least 1 year.
• Have knowledge and know how to work with data arrays, a namely:

1. form ordered arrays of data based on received downloads from existing databases; 
2. build models based on data in the Excel environment (Power Query; Power Pivot modules); 
3. analyze work results and interpret them (identification of trends, dependencies, bottlenecks) and, based on them, generate proposals for improving business processes or creating new ones;  
4. confidently own the software product MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);

Your main tasks will be:

Formation of ordered data arrays and metrics based on them. 
• Creation of reports and metrics based on the received data arrays and their analysis. 
• Ability to interpret the received analysis results into specific recommendations. 
• Development and implementation of internal business processes in the direction of equipment operation based on processed data arrays. 
• Implementation of improvements for existing internal production processes based on the result of the analysis of data arrays (together with other specialists of the department). 
• Ininteraction with specialized production units on production issues.
