Data analyst at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

Overview:

The vacancy involves service in the structural division of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the direction of digital development.

The candidate will be a member of a team that will influence the development and scaling of technological solutions that are important for increasing the country's defense capabilities.

This is an opportunity to work in a professional environment, with modern digitization tools for the development of current and implementation of new digital products in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

B The IT team of one of the military administrations needs a Data Analyst to work in the data analysis department.

Main duties:

• analyze large and small amounts of data
• collaborate with project teams, explain results and offer actionable ideas to achieve project goals
• create automated dashboards for users in Power BI
• evaluate data quality and, if necessary, propose measures to improve data quality

Mandatory requirements:

• work experience of 2 years or more as a data analyst / data engineer
• knowledge of SQL
• basic knowledge of mathematical statistics (AB tests)

• ability to write reports and visualize data
• inquisitiveness and critical thinking
• knowledge of the English language (B1 minimum)
• preferred: Power Query; Python< /li>
• experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar programs

Working conditions (civil service):

• work in the city of Kyiv (city center)
• work schedule Mon-Fri, from 09:00 to 18:00
• signing a contract for military service before the announcement of the demobilization decision
• reserve officer (immediately specify the following data: rank, VOS, specialty)
• monetary support at the level of 20-30 thousand UAH, without additional bonuses (30, 50 or 100 thousand), depends on the rank and service experience
