As a Data Analyst at Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our risk assessment models. By carefully assessing these models, you will contribute to the bank’s ability to make sound financial decisions, manage risk effectively, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Y our responsibilities:

• Periodic review, validation and support of credit risk forecasting models for retail business clients in line with regulatory requirements (Basel, IFRS9)
• Periodic review, validation and maintenance of statistical models oriented to business and other needs
• Model review within the models development and regular performance checks in line with regulatory requirements and Group directives
• Prepare of regular reports on the quality of the models, perform in-depth analysis of model outputs to identify any anomalies or discrepancies
• Presentation of research results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential model weaknesses and propose improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in model development and validation

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in fields such as finance, mathematics, statistics or IT
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of mathematical statistics
• Level of English B2+ (Upper Intermediate)
• Effective communication and presentation skills

It will be a plus:

• Understanding the main stages and types of machine learning models
• Proven experience in model validation within the banking industry
• Knowledge of SAS, R or Python
• Practical skills in working with version control (GIT)
• Experience with Power BI

Як аналітик даних у Райффайзен Банк Україна, ви відіграватимете вирішальну роль у забезпеченні точності та ефективності наших моделей оцінки ризиків. Ретельно оцінивши ці моделі, ви сприятимете здатності банку приймати обґрунтовані фінансові рішення, ефективно управляти ризиками та виконувати нормативні вимоги.

Що ви будете робити:

• Періодичне рев’ю, валідація та супрmanagement of credit risk forecasting models for the segments of individuals and Micro businesses, used in accordance with regulatory requirements (Basel, IFRS9)
• Periodic review, validation and support of statistical models oriented to business and other needs
• Participation in model development projects, in the role of an expert on model validation, regulatory requirements and Group directives
• Preparation of regular reports on the quality of the models, in-depth analysis of model results, to identify any anomalies or disagreements
• Presentation of research results
• Collaboration with other relevant teams, with the aim of identifying potential model shortcomings and suggestions for improvement of models
• Continuous involvement and familiarization with industry standards and best practices in model development and verification

Required knowledge and experience:

• Higher financial and economic, mathematical or IT education < /li>
• Work experience in the field of validation of credit risk assessment models from 2 years
• Experience with SQL
• Understanding of the main stages and types of machine learning models
• Knowledge of mathematical statistics
• Level of English B2+ (Upper Intermediate)
• Effective communication and presentation skills

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of SAS/R/Python
• Experience working with the resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine "Regulations on the Organization of the Risk Management System in Ukrainian Banks and Banking Groups"
• Practical version control (GIT) skills
• Power BI experience
