Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: IT Project ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE:Manages multiple Information Technology projects with a focus on enterprise wide infrastructure projects. Responsible for the project lifecycle which includes project initiation through implementation and closure. Ensures that projects are completed on-time, on-budget and meet business requirements. Anticipates and manages project issues and cross project dependencies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assists with Project Charters, scope, and other project deliverables as required. Assists with requirement gathering and documentation. Participates with Request for Information and Request for Proposal documents and process. Facilitates team and business project meetings effectively. Helps deliver informative and well-organized presentations.Manages projects with complex global, multi-location stakeholders and implementations. Manages all project related work, including budget, timeline, scope, quality and customer expectations. Creates, executes and maintains project work plans. Communicates project plans, status and issues on a regular basis to project team members and management. Identifies, clarifies and resolves project issues. Monitors project performance, including deliverables, resource effectiveness and quality.Reviews and obtains appropriate approvals on project deliverables. Works with business to identify, evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions. Works with core IT functions (e.g. infrastructure, security) and managers of related project initiatives to ensure proper project integration. Participates in process change initiatives that may require business process re-engineering. Interacts with multiple business units and executive-level stakeholders.
