Cybersecurity specialist in 17 brigada Nacionalnoyi gvardiyi Ukrayini (v/ch 3052 m. Poltava)

Main responsibilities:

• security audit and testing: conducting regular security checks of our software developments (Application Security) at all stages of the life cycle;
• infrastructure protection: monitoring, configuring and maintaining the security of servers, network equipment and cloud services;
• access management and VPN: setting up, maintaining and monitoring the configuration of VPN services to ensure secure remote access; Endpoint Security: implementing and maintaining security policies on the team's work and personal devices, including anti-virus protection, access control and encryption; vulnerability management: regularly searching for, evaluating and coordinating the elimination of identified vulnerabilities in infrastructure and development; responding to incidents: development of response plans for cyber security incidents, their investigation and minimization of consequences;
• documentation: writing and maintaining up-to-date instructions, policies and architectural solutions in the field of information security.

Professional skills:

• deep knowledge of network security: confident working with network infrastructure (Azure Virtual Network, NSG, Firewall, VPN, VLAN, traffic control);
• server configuration experience: practical experience with Linux/Windows Server, configuration of services and their protection;
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): experience in administration and configuration of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including management of roles, users, groups and implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA), configuration of policies security;
• VPN experience: configuring and maintaining various VPN solutions (e.g. WireGuard, OpenVPN);
• knowledge of security standards: understanding and application of international information security standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001) or government standards in the field of information protection will be an advantage;
• ability to work with tools: experience with monitoring tools, SIEM systems, vulnerability scanning tools and management secrets;
• scripting and automation: the ability to use PowerShell, Bash, Python or other languages to automate routine security tasks.
