CV/ML Research Engineer

Kyiv

The vacancy involves service in one of the special units of the Defense Forces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• development and deployment of computer vision solutions and AI models in the full cycle
• continuous evaluation and improvement of model performance with the help of feedback communication from users
• collaboration with leading product and engineering teams to implement cutting-edge AI research in support of Defense Forces
• defining tasks and strategies for data collection and annotation to achieve product objectives
• analysis of current approaches to model quality metrics and development of new approaches

REQUIREMENTS

• more than 5 years of experience in engineering or research in the field computer vision or digital signal processing
• experience implementing advanced ML research projects for end users
• ability to write efficient, clean and maintainable code in Python and PyTorch
• knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
• experience in inference acceleration and model compression technologies (quantization, distillation, etc.) would be an advantage < /li>
• experience with working with real-time video processing in the cloud and at the edge will be an advantage
• experience with large amounts of unlabeled data using self and semi-supervised approaches will be an advantage

CONDITIONS

• contract service until the end of martial law

• service in the office in the city of Kyiv, 5 days for a week
