Our mission is to provide an intuitive, engaging, and effective platform for both teachers and students.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Golang and React Native, as well as proficiency in AWS. As our CTO, you will lead the development team, oversee the technical aspects of our mobile and desktop applications, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on development skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Oversight: Lead and manage the frontend, backend, and quality assurance teams. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed.Code Review: Review all pull requests (PRs) prior to merging to maintain code quality and consistency.Development: Contribute to the development of new features and assist in bug fixing as needed.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to define the technical strategy and roadmap for Teache’s products.Technical Architecture: Oversee the design and architecture of the mobile and desktop applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.AWS Management: Manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the development team. Mentor and support team members in their professional growth.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software releases meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous testing and review processes.Required QualificationsExperience: Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technical leadership role.Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Golang and React Native.AWS Proficiency: Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage development teams effectively.Code Review: Excellent code review skills with a focus on maintaining high standards.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
