The CTO will be responsible for development and technical operational teams across the complete platform stack. With development teams located in EveryMatrix’s development centres in Kyiv and Lviv (Ukraine), the post holder should expect some travel and to meet the challenge of coordinating and ensuring smooth communication between geographically separated teams. Responsibilities: -Provide technical direction and vision for the projects to the Product Department and CEO; -Follow up with company policies and make sure they are correctly implemented within the team; -Standardize, implement, and enforce agreed software development processes;-Ensure team growth and motivation, including enabling paths for firing and hiring, career progression and organizational structure; -Resolve internal team conflicts and ensures team transparency; -Deliver industry best standards of platform stability and reliability for our customers and drive the technical vision to achieve 99.99% uptime; -Ensure the quality and correctness of developed software; -Be an effective communicator with other Business Units in the group as well as with 3rd party providers and clients; -Own the platform architecture and direction of technical development; -Provide relevant technical/business information to the Product Department and CEO; -Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and compliances procedures are followed; -Represent the technical teams and communicate technical challenges and opportunities to business management; -Communication with customers, present or potential, on the technical aspects of Game solutions; -Where necessary, get ‘hands-on’ and assist the development and operations teams with addressing technical challenges or diagnosing operational incidents. Requirements: -Experience in the iGaming industry, in particular RNG based slot games, is a must;-Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/AI/Maths; -Management / Leadership Training, Organizational skills training; -More than 10 years of experience in software development; -More than 5 years of experience with leading a team; -2-5 years of experience with driving the architecture for building a software product; -Experience working with high-volume transactional platforms; Required technical platform experience: -Expertise in container-driven/orchestrated platform architectures (Kubernetes etc.);-Software delivery and operations at scale in highly regulated markets (e.g. experience implementing security policies through the SDLC, code and deployment verification, audit processes);-End-to-end understanding of the architecture and key technical challenges/solutions across the iGaming domain, from RNG/RGS to front-end GDK and UI frameworks;-Experience managing both on-premises and commercial cloud deployment models;-Implementation of modern event-oriented/distributed design patterns and key enabling technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka, service-mesh);-English – advanced; -Can perform well under pressure; -Quality and productivity-oriented; -People person; -Organized and knows how to deliver/receive constructive feedback.
