CP & MHPSS Coordinator / Child Protection, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Coordinator in Save the Children

Save the Children International is a humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London. SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. It started its work in the territory of Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine. We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also conduct advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: CP & MHPSS The coordinator will manage and monitor the implementation of the Child Protection Program (CP) and MHPSS in Chernivtsi region. This includes a portfolio of both direct and partner-led CP and MHPSS child, adolescent, and family programs focused on strengthening CP systems at the community level, as well as cross-sectoral integration and emergency response. Under the line management of the CP & MHPSS PM and technical support from the CP & MHPSS TA, the CP & MHPSS Coordinator will ensure high quality and effective implementation and delivery of integrated CP and MHPSS interventions and services. He/she will be responsible for effective coordination and collaboration between field teams, implementing partners, other relevant partners and within the organization for technical support to ensure quality and efficient operation of the program. This role includes advocacy and technical support to HR regarding staff wellbeing. The CP & MHPSS Coordinator will work closely with the Case Management Coordinator, representing the coordination of the CP & MHPSS team as needed. He/she will facilitate fundraising, project planning and development, support the evaluation process of CP and MHPSS areas, and manage recruitment and procurement. The incumbent will be expected to assess, monitor and document gaps in existing services and implement innovative ways to strengthen Ukraine's child protection systems, resilience and sustainability. data and reflects our commitment to protecting children from abuse. S/he will contribute to fundraising, project planning and design, support CP & MHPSS assessments, as well as manage recruitment and procurement.
