Responsibilities:

  • Participation in site inspections, failure analyses, repairs and implementation of the best technical solutions,
  • Preparing an expert's opinions related to the corrosion of different types of constructions e.g. highways, bridges, ports, major flood barriers and tunnels,
  • Investigation of paints and coating failures and corrosion-related failures,
  • Writing paints and coatings specifications,
  • Frequent business travel,
  • Participation in team meetings, cooperation with customers, and suppliers of materials and services;

  • Ability to work in the office or in a hybrid model (project dependent).

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor or a Master’s degree in a discipline such as Materials Engineering or similar,
  • Minimum 3 years experience on a similar position,
  • Understanding of materials selection and corrosion mechanisms for different types of structures,
  • Knowledge of coating and painting offshore and onshore facilities and structures,
  • Experience in preparing materials, paints and coatings specifications for new design and refurbishment projects,
  • Awareness of welding and associated corrosion/materials issues,
  • Experience in CAD environment, 
  • Very good level of English,
  • Willingness to frequent business trips,
  • Data analysis and communication skills,
  • Experience in writing technical reports and presentations;
