Save Ukraine
Save Ukraine is one of the largest charitable foundations in Ukraine according to Forbes Ukraine and a leading humanitarian organization that supports families affected by the war. The fund was founded in 2014 with the aim of protecting children and families and helping the most vulnerable Ukrainians: orphans, children with disabilities, internally displaced persons and victims of violence. We evacuate families from war zones and territories temporarily occupied by Russia, and we are the first among humanitarian organizations to systematically carry out rescue missions to return forcibly deported Ukrainian children.
We are looking for a strong copywriter who will help shape the voice of Save Ukraine through texts that inform, inspire and engage audiences in Ukraine and the world. You will work with people's stories, humanitarian missions and socially important topics, creating meaningful and responsible content.
Main tasks:
• Writing texts for social networks, website, e-mails, media materials, presentations and other communication materials.
• Creating stories (storytelling) about fund wards, humanitarian missions and project results in compliance with ethical standards.
• Adaptation of content for different audiences: Ukrainian and international.
• Cooperation with SMM, designer, video team and project managers to create complex communications.
• Participation in the development of communication campaigns and informational materials for donors and partners.
• Editing and proofreading of texts, maintaining a single tone of voice of the Save Ukraine brand.
• Preparation of texts for humanitarian reports, news and public statements of the organization.
Our expectations:
• Experience as a copywriter, journalist or editor from 1-2 years.
• Excellent writing skills in English; understanding the perception of narratives by a foreign audience
• Understanding the principles of storytelling and working with socially sensitive content.
• Experience working in the public sector will be a plus.
