Our team is looking for: Coordinator of the direction of mental health

Requirements for our candidate:  

• Education higher field of knowledge "Health care", "Social work", "Social and behavioral sciences", specialty "Medicine", "Social work", "Public health", "Psychology" or in another relevant field;
• Knowledge in the field of mental health, in particular in terms of evidence-based approaches and international regulations;
• Work experience in the field of public health, mental health, psychosocial services for at least 2 years (preferably at the level of management and management);
• English language level not lower than B1

Responsibilities of our candidate:

• Participation in coordinating the development of mental health programs (in the direction of public mental health), at the national and regional level levels.
• Conducting an analysis of existing strategies and best practices in the field of mental health
• Preparation of proposals for interaction with central executive authorities to improve current legislation, the existing system of prevention, diagnosis and treatment in areas of mental health.
• Participation in planning and organizing communication and educational activities to raise awareness of mental health among different target audiences, implementation of promotion activities of mental health.
• Conducting and accepting participation in the organization of trainings, courses, seminars, schools of best practices, etc., aimed at improving the qualifications of medical and non-medical specialists in mental health.      
• Giving proposals and recommendations to the regional and Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations on health care issues regarding improving the quality of services, implementing the most effective programs and interventions.
• General monitoring and assessment of the current situation at the national and regional level regarding mental health. Participation in the implementation of mental health surveillance activities
• Preparation of reports, recommendations and presentations based on collected data and feedback to optimize processes and ensure high quality results.
• Participation in the planning and organization of communication and educational activities to raise awareness of neurodegenerative disorders among different target audiences, implementation of activities to promote mental health and reduce stigma about dementities.
• Conducting an analysis of the system of epidemiological surveillance of neurodegenerative diseases and strokes in the country.
• Conducting an analysis of strategies and best practices for the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases and strokes. 
• Participation in the development of projects of industry standards in the field of health care on issues of diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. 
• Participation in conducting research on the prevalence of mental disorders and studying the state of mental health of the population.
