Coordinator of the educational direction in Shid SOS

Vacancy from BF "East SOS": we are looking for a coordinator of the educational direction. The "East SOS" charity fund has been helping victims of Russian aggression since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the activities and team of the foundation have increased. Currently, we help the civilian population in all government-controlled territories. Interaction with educational institutions and civil society is one of the aspects of the activities of the East SOS Foundation. The Foundation implements a number of educational initiatives, such as: education about human rights; the annual meeting "Festival of Thoughts"; the project "Global education - we know human rights" on the implementation of human rights principles in the activities of ZZSO; the project "School Up" - 2,100 hours trainings on the development of digital competences for 1,352 teachers from 35 schools; trainings on the trauma-oriented approach for 70 psychology students and 35 school psychologists; the "Educational meetings" project - strengthening the professional development and competences of teachers, supporting the psycho-emotional state, strengthening the community; advocacy activities for improving access to education for war victims; strengthening school psychologists; arranging shelters; handing over equipment for online learning; providing schoolchildren in Luhansk Region with laptops, tablets and stationery. Responsibilities: participation in activity planning and implementation of educational projects; creation of projects, programs and activities ;search for funding (in cooperation with the fundraiser); communication with donors and partners; team coordination; communication with project participants and partners, as well as mass media, PR department and financial manager; information and analytical support; search and processing of necessary information; preparation and keeping documentation; monitoring the implementation of projects and drawing up reports; establishing contacts with beneficiaries (creating sustainable relationships); traveling around Ukraine and abroad. Requirements: motivation to strengthen the field of human rights protection and help those who find themselves in a difficult life situation; the ability to be creative and to think strategically; to be part of a team and to administer activities; experience in project activities; desirable experience in the field of educational projects; experience in the preparation of informational materials; high organizational skills, event manager skills; sociability, the ability to communicate with different audiences; attention to details, the ability to collect and develop project reporting documentation; systematic approach, stress resistance; ability to quickly make decisions, learn new things and implement knowledge in practice; fluency in the Ukrainian language; English at the Intermediate+ level; experience in public activities or work in international/donor organizations will be an advantage.
