The Foundation is an executive partner of the UNHCR and carries out programs of providing direct legal, humanitarian and psychological assistance in 20 regions of Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights, as well as contributes to strengthening the capacities of state bodies of Ukraine to overcome the consequences of migration. 

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION< /p>

Coordinator for the evacuation of people with limited mobility (interaction with places of temporary residence (hereinafter - MTP) will be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the evacuation process of the less mobile population groups. with the provision of further support for social and material issues. ">To the General Manager of Legal Protection of the Fund and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis and preparation of proposals for the settlement of low-mobility population groups in working MTPs:

  • selection of MTP from existing databases;

  • checking living conditions in MTP, including accessibility, access to food, sanitary conditions, etc.;

  • availability / need for necessary social services;

  • access to medical care, etc.;

  • conducting informational meetings with local self-government bodies and OVA.

  • Organization of social services (care at home) for the less mobile population living in MTP, host families and other types of social housing (excluding institutions):

  • development of mechanisms for assessment of needs and provision of social services, including care services (protocol of actions, which must be confirmed by the SME and provided to OVA and local government for use);

  • holding information meetings with local self-government bodies and OVA on the organization of care services, collecting data on providers of social care services at home, supported living from among public organizations financed within the framework of humanitarian response, etc.

  • Preparation of high-quality and timely reports in accordance with the requirements and within the agreed terms.

  • Adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, as well as the Foundation's code of conduct.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in the field of social work, social sciences or a related discipline.

  • From the 1st year of professional work experience in the field of humanitarian response and provision of social services.

  • Training related to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will be an advantage.

  • Experience of working with state authorities and/or local self-government bodies, public organizations.

  • Awareness of humanitarian principles and standards of human rights.

  • Experience in implementing population evacuation programs.

  • Strong communication skills.    Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in Ukrainian and working knowledge of English.

  • Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy.

  • Fair treatment of all people, lack of favoritism.

  • Aspiration for teamwork.

  • Executing duties with gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

  • High motivation. Ability to work well under pressure and in adverse conditions.

  • Willingness to perform tasks while being physically located in the premises of the Ministry of Social Policy according to the standard work schedule 5 days a week (if necessary), with the possibility of performing tasks remotely and with a flexible schedule (according to the tasks available at work and the requirements for effective working process).
