The job holder would be a part of Core Product Control team within Product Control Krakow. Main responsibilities include ensuring that Control environment of the Global Markets Business is assessed accurately, and control remediation plan is defined and executed with respect of best practices which incorporate IFRS accounting standard, HSBC Group policies, procedures, and other relevant guidance.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• University graduate in financial or economic subject or university graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar.
• Minimum five years prior Product Control professional experience
• Advanced Excel is a must, knowledge of VBA, Access & SQL is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills allowing to manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels of seniority and different backgrounds.
• Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written English and oral communication skills.
• CIMA/ACCA qualification will be an asset.
