Content Writer/Copywriter (remote) in Charity Foundation Children of Heroes

"Children of Heroes" is a charity fund helping children who have lost one or both parents due to the Russian war in Ukraine. Our goal is to enable and support the Children of Heroes to be the best representatives of the Ukrainian nation and integrate them into the global community.

Our vision is to help the Children of Heroes as they grow up, without parents, to find their way, despite loss, adversity and trauma, to grow up and achieve their greatest potential in live — both personally and professionally. We envisage that the thousands of children in our care will eventually be able to lead happy, healthy and successful lives, achieving academic excellence and career success. 

 Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Create unique captivating content: articles, columns, info-materials etc for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. You should know the difference between stated platforms and audience
• Create and regularly update content for the Foundation’s website
• Prepare whitepapers, newsletters, reports etc.
• Prepare texts for our landing pages and e-mail distributions 
• Collaborate with marketing, digital, fundraising and execution teams to assess project needs and help with messaging
• Proofread and rewrite materials 

 What you bring:

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
• Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually, storytelling skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Qualifications:

• Degree in journalism/Ukrainian
• Media background will be a plus
• 3-5 years experience in content marketing, journalism or copywriting
• Fluent English 
• Excellent Ukrainian
• Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Diploma of journalist/philologist

• 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, journalism or copywriting
• Fluent English
• Excellent Ukrainian
• You are comfortable working independently without constant management supervision
• You are comfortable working under tight deadlines
