Content maker of news formats (TikTok/Instagram) in TRK KIYiV

We are looking for a SMM journalist in the SMM department of the news TV channel "Kyiv24". We need a person who is deeply "in the subject" of what is happening in the country and the capital, and who can turn a complex information drive into an exciting explainer, carousel or dynamic TikTok. The work format is a hybrid office + remote.

If you are equally well-versed in political news and the world of bloggers, know how to write sharp texts and independently shoot/edit videos - you are the one we need.

Key responsibilities:

• Search and "package" the hottest socio-political and lifestyle infographics in Instagram and TikTok formats.

• Create informative carousels and stories for Instagram that explain complex topics in simple language (text + visual).

• Write scripts and shoot news video explainers and Reels (willingness to work in the frame - welcome).

• Independently shoot and edit dynamic TikTok videos (new explainers, discussions, trends adapted to our topic).

• Conduct quick fact-checking and be responsible for the reliability of the information in your content.

Requirements for candidate:

• Work experience in SMM, digital media or journalism (from 1-2 years).

• The most important thing: you are "on the subject" of the social and political life of Ukraine, orient yourself in the main events and faces. Experience in show-biz/blogging topics will be a huge plus.

• Perfect literacy (Ukrainian language). The ability to write lively, catchy, but correct texts without clericalism.

• Practical experience of video shooting on the phone and editing in mobile applications (eg, CapCut, VN).

• Ability to work with visuals (Canva, Figma, Photoshop at the basic level) to create carousels and stories.

• Understanding the algorithms of TikTok and Instagram Reels not by hearsay, but in practice.

• Speed, proactivity, creativity and willingness to work at the pace of a news channel.
