Purpose of the position:
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Consultant within the Resilience Innovation Program (RIF) is responsible for ensuring accurate, appropriate, timely and quality support for the implementation of RIF activities related to ICT. The RIF Technical/ICT Consultant works closely with the Tdh MHPSS Trainer on day-to-day decisions and provides support on all logistical, general operational and technical aspects of the RIF. Together with other Tdh staff, he/she will support the organization of daily events and workshops, manage resources and equipment, provide training, mentoring and coaching to RIF facilitators and relevant Tdh staff in relation to ICT, 3D printers, digital tools and other digital equipment used for programming. Together with the Tdh MHPSS trainer and the MHPSS coordinator, he/she ensures the correct implementation of the RIF related to the ICT and digital skills development component, in accordance with the contractual obligations and procedures of donors, as well as in accordance with Terre des hommes management procedures and standards, as well as internal legislation.
Main responsibilities:
1. Coordination of the planning and development of RIF Ukraine events and animations, including the organization of trainings and specialized seminars, in coordination with RIF facilitators.
2. Support the management of project activities under the direction of the Tdh Project Manager and relevant Tdh staff in accordance with the Tdh Child Protection Policy to ensure that the RIF is organized in a child-friendly environment.
3. Management of RIF digital and ICT equipment in accordance with the use of the premises and the technical characteristics of the equipment; 4. Coordinating with the MHPSS trainer to conduct various trainings on design and digital software (mainly 2D and 3D design software) and digital technology (3D printer, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, Arduino boards, etc.);
5. Development and implementation of ICT/technical trainings (including the exchange ofmaterials) for employees of the Tdh team in Ukraine. Provide regular coaching and mentoring support to RIF facilitators who will work in RIF spaces.
6. Supports technical contributions to ICT for the development and implementation of activities for children and youth.
7. Develops and delivers digital learning materials to local stakeholders, teachers, adult leaders as needed.
8. Provides training support for various software (mainly 2D and 3D design software) and equipment operation (3D printer, laser cutter, digital sewing machine, CNC milling machine, etc.) to Tdh team, local member team and other partners. 9. Controls physical security in the RIF space related to ICT and tools for self-production;
10. Inspires/helps people to develop and implement their personal projects by developing activities for different age groups and levels (beginners, intermediate);
11. In coordination with MHPSS trainers and RIF facilitators, ensures inventory relevance: manages inventory of ICT and DIY materials, consumables, and spare parts required for RIF;
12. Provides support to RIF facilitators and Tdh MHPSS staff in developing methods and action models for ICT and DIY RIF workshops;
13. With the support of Tdh staff, ensure proper maintenance of ICT and DIY RIF equipment, including any necessary repairs, communication with technical services, etc.;
14. Adheres to and ensures compliance with Tdh administrative and logistical rules and procedures;
15. Agrees to abide by the Tdh Code of Conduct and ensures compliance with child protection standards;
16. Facilitate regular exchange of information to ensure smooth implementation of activities within their mandate
Your profile:
Education:Higher education from an accredited educational institution in a relevant field related to graphic design and computer graphics, mechanics and materials science, information and technology, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, software engineering, etc.
Experience:A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required. Certificates related to ICT technologies and programming are highly valued (examples of certificates: diploma or certificate of completion of relevant courses, such as: • 3D modeling and modern production technologies • 3D printing and additive manufacturing course • 3D Printing Academy (Ukraine) – courses in 3D modeling, 3D printer setup and robotics. • 3D Printing Academy • FabLab Ukraine and others .Skills: 3D Modeling, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc. Ability to design and conduct ICT events; Interest in 2D+3D modeling software; Interest in child protection key issues context; Excellent writing skillsno reports; Strong analytical skills; Very good organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to maintain high standards and punctuality under pressure; Experience working with children and young people (especially children from vulnerable groups or children who experience discrimination) in similar projects will be an advantage.
Languages : Mother tongue is Ukrainian, basic communication skills in English will be an advantage.
IT knowledge:Experience in the field of digital technologies (3D programming, etc.), ICT and other software necessary for the implementation of the project.
