Community organization specialist (facilitator) in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

MFOZNS "Carpathian Region" announces a competition for the position of community organization specialist (facilitator) in the Lviv region on part-time working conditions under the project "Providing assistance in matters of protection, as well as basic needs and housing for IDPs, refugees, returnees and persons , affected by the war in Ukraine" on the terms of the contract until 12/31/2024.

Requirements:

- presence of good social ties in the community;

- communicative and leadership skills;

- previous work experience in the social sphere;

-experience of teamwork;

Responsibilities:

- Identification of persons who are at risk in the field of protection and referral to case workers for appropriate response;

-Information support and basic individual counseling in the center, public space and during home visits;

-Help in raising awareness of issues related to the rights of IDPs, refugees and stateless persons;

-Support of UNHCR and partners in conducting various activities and promoting community participation;

-Individual accompanying persons with special needs who require regular monitoring at home;

-Regular reporting and meetings with UNHCR and partners;

-Role of a catalyst to help form groups of individuals for community initiatives , where appropriate;
