Community organization specialist in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

MFOZNS "Carpathian Region" announces a competition for the position of specialist in community organization (facilitator) in the village of Volovets and the Volovets district on the terms of a part-time contract.

Requirements:

• availability of good social connections in the community;
• communication and leadership skills;
• availability of previous work experience in the social sphere;
• experience of teamwork;

Duties:

• Identification of persons who have risks in the field of protection and referral to case workers for appropriate response;
• Information support and basic individual counseling in HC, public space and during home visits;
• Help in raising awareness of issues related to the rights of IDPs;
• Support to UNHCR and partners in conducting various activities and promoting community participation;
• Individual accompaniment of persons with special needs who require regular monitoring at home;
• Regular reporting and meetings with UNHCR and partners;
• Catalyst role to help form groups of individuals to carry out community initiatives where appropriate;
