Community organization specialist in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

MFOZNS "Carpathian Region" announces a competition for the position of a specialist in community organization (facilitator) in the city of Zolochiv, Lviv region, on a part-time basis under the project "Providing assistance with protection issues, as well as basic needs and housing for IDPs, refugees, returnees and persons, victims of the war in Ukraine" under the terms of the contract until December 31, 2025.

Requirements:

• the presence of good social ties in the community;
• communicative and leadership skills skills;
• having previous work experience in the social sphere;
• team work experience;

Responsibilities:

• Identification of persons who have risks in the field of protection and referral to caseworkers for an appropriate response;
• Information provision and basic individual counseling in HCs, public spaces and during home visits;
• Help in raising awareness of issues related to the rights of IDPs, refugees and stateless persons;
• Supporting UNHCR and partners in conducting various events and promoting participation communities;
• One-on-one support for persons with special needs who require regular follow-up at home;
• Regular reporting and meetings with UNHCR and partners;
• A role as a catalyst to help form groups of individuals for community initiatives where appropriate.
