Job Scope:

CESVI, through a project funded by AICS, aims to provide timely humanitarian assistance , which saves lives, and ensure access to basic services for the most vulnerable sections of the population in Ukraine. The project is focused on improving access to integrated basic medical, vital and psychiatric services in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

The target areas of the project are Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. It is possible to travel to other regions as needed.

Main functions and responsibilities:

  • Build fruitful and trusting relationships with leaders and members of communities in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblasts to understand their needs and establish a relationship with CESVI and its partners.
  • Providing recommendations to local entities on disseminating information about available services to community members within the area of ​​operation.
  • >
  • Promoting the provision of mental and psychological health care services to institutions, health care facilities, family doctors and individuals in the community.
  • Creating a map of services in the area of ​​activity and displaying them in the referral matrix to ensure accurate referral.
  • Information and referral of direct beneficiaries to specific service providers and stakeholders based on their needs not covered by CESVI and its partners, in coordination with the CESVI Protection Specialist .
  • Preparation and submission of monthly reports on beneficiaries reached and updating the referral matrix.
  • Attending trainings conducted by CESVI to improve skills and knowledge related to project objectives and responsibilities . 

Qualification Requirements:

Technical degree or diploma in a relevant field such as social sciences, health care, management or any which related discipline.

Skills and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (social sciences, international development ) community.
  • Experience of mental health and psychosocial support services preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment team environment.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian.
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage.

Scope of the Position

CESVI, through the AICS-funded project, aims to provide timely life-saving humanitarian assistance and ensure access to basic services for the most vulnerable populations in Ukraine. The project focuses on improving access to integrated basic health, life-saving, and mental health services in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblast.

The project target areas are Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblast.  Missions in the other oblasts are possible when required.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Build fruitful and trustful relationships with community leaders and members in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblast to understand their needs and connect them with CESVI and its partners' services.
  • Provide guidance to local actors in disseminating information about available services to community members in the operational area.
  • Promote Mental and Mental Health services to institutions, health facilities, family doctors, and individuals within the community.
  • Conduct mapping of services in the operational area and document them in the Referral Matrix to ensure accurate referrals are made.
  • Provide Information and Referrals for the direct beneficiaries to specific service providers and stakeholders based on their needs not covered by CESVI and its partners, in coordination with CESVI Protection Specialist.< /li>
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on beneficiaries reached, updates the Referral Matrix and local stakeholders informed.
  • Attend trainings provided by CESVI to enhance skills and knowledge related to the project goals and responsibilities. 

Qualifications:

Technical degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, health, management or any related discipline.

Skills and Competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Social Sciences, Internationalal Development, Community Health, etc.).
  • Previous experience in community mobilization, outreach, or similar roles in humanitarian or development projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
  • Understanding of mental health and psychosocial support services is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian; 
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage.
