About us:
The LWF World Program is the internationally recognized humanitarian department of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF). Today, the VLF is a widely recognized international organization represented in more than 20 countries of the world. In response to the crisis in Ukraine, VLF Ukraine launched a large-scale humanitarian operation in Kharkiv and the region in areas such as housing reconstruction, winter preparation, school shelter reconstruction, protection, including mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and food distribution. Previously, the VLF in Ukraine already provided humanitarian aid in Chernihiv region, and now it is conducting a needs assessment to expand humanitarian aid to the affected population of Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The activities of the VLF in Ukraine are aimed at supporting IDPs, returnees and other affected communities in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. In order to effectively implement programs, the LWF coordinates and closely cooperates with the Government of Ukraine, local authorities, member churches of the LWF, members of the Anti-Corruption Alliance, civil society organizations, UN interagency agencies and other interested parties. 400">Under the leadership of the PZPSP project manager and the PZPSP specialist, the community mobilizer will play a key role in the implementation and implementation of the UNICEF-funded project: "Education and resilience: strengthening mental health and psychosocial support in the Kharkiv education system".
The community mobilizer will be responsible for building relationships, collecting data and providing feedback from the beneficiaries of the VLF program. Community mobilizers will also support beneficiaries in properly accessing basic social services such as health care, education, psychosocial support, according to the developed referral system, and facilitate communication within the system.
> responsibilities:· Facilitate basic survey and psychological screening in selected schools
· Facilitate capacity building training for teachers, staff and parents
· Collaborate with teachers and psychologists to implement PPE toolkits and packages in the designated school
· Organize and conduct entertainment, educational and public events
· Conducting consultations on the provision of information on PZPSP for parents and guardians, as well as carrying out control/home visits, if necessary
· Strengthen the referral mechanism and ensure access to services for communities
· Collecting the necessary data and providing it to LWF Project staff on a regular basis
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
· Higher education
· Experience in the field of protection of vulnerable population groups is welcome
· Preference is given to candidates with experience in education, psychology, social work, communications, advocacy, research, community development or other relevant areas
· Experience in humanitarian projects will be an advantage
· Ability to quickly learn and adapt.
Professional requirements:
· Ability and ability to solve activity tasks within the framework of assigned responsibilities and project goals;
· Ability to contribute to community development.
· Basic computer skills.
