Job Description:
The Community Liaison will provide information, support and resources for women and girls, and will also hold relevant events.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must perform the main duties independently or special working conditions are necessary.
Main tasks and duties< /p>
Information sharing and awareness raising
Conduct individual and small group discussions on issues , important for women and girls, as well as the risks of gender-based violence and mechanisms for reporting it.
Monitoring and reporting
Support and first psychosocial help
Conduct individual consultations to provide psychosocial first aid.
Organize referrals for women and girls , who wish to receive further support.
Apply a survivor-centred approach to all activities.
Safety and Conduct

Demonstrate basic principles for developing gender-based violence programs, including respect, non-discrimination, non-abuse of authority, non-violence and promotion of gender equality.
Contribute to the formation of a positive image and general trust in the program and organization, in particular through compliance with the Code of Conduct and ethics, including compliance with anti-harassment, safeguarding and protection and sexual exploitation and abuse policies.
Perform other dutiesby appointment. The functions and responsibilities listed in this document are representative in nature and may not necessarily be included in the scope of work.

According to this position, the individual must promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization and maintain a clear understanding of International Medical Corps compliance standards and ethical donation standards. If this is a supervisory position, you should set an example of ethical behavior through your own behavior and supervision of the work of others; ensure that those who report to you have sufficient knowledge and resources to comply with the standards set out in the code of conduct and ethics; monitor compliance of subordinate employees; ensure compliance with the International Medical Corps code of conduct and ethics and policies, including safety policies and protection against humiliation, bullying and sexual harassment in the workplace, consistently and fairly; support employees who raise such issues or concerns in good faith.
