Community Manager in Ukrayinska Pravda

Ukrainian Pravda is looking for a candidate for the position of community manager of the UP Club. About the Club >UP Club is one of the largest membership projects on the Ukrainian media market, with the help of which Ukrainian Truth builds horizontal connections with its own readers. In the Club, readers, journalists and businesses communicate, become partners and develop Ukrainian journalism together.

Job description

The manager is responsible for all areas of strategic and operational tasks related to the functioning and development of the UP Club. 

The position of community manager involves systematic work with members of the UP Club and a wider audience of the publication. The responsibility of the manager includes the functioning, expansion and development of the community of the UP Club.

The manager works directly with the chief manager of the UP Club and, if necessary, involves the editorial team.

Job duties together with by the UP Club team

• Regular communication with participants using all platforms (email newsletter, social networks)
• Processing and responding to requests from participants
• Creation of regular newsletters for the audience segments of the UP Club
• Personal communication with Club members at events
• Participation in the organization of Club events - planning, budgeting, promotion, management of contractors
• Participation in community development strategy formation
• Preparation and implementation of marketing campaigns for community development
• Development of additional services and media products at the request of the community

Requirements to the candidate

1. Self-organization, excellent organizational and management skills
2. Ability to work both autonomously and organize a team according to the needs of the project.
3. Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
4. Initiative, proactivity, ability to solve problems.
5. Financial planning skills.
6. Experience working with clients will be an advantage.
7. Experience in media industry/communications/marketing/ would be an advantage
8. Experience in crowdfunding campaigns, event organization, merch creation would be an advantage.
