Kyiv Human Rights Hub in cooperation with the Civil Liberties Center is looking for a Community Development and Partnerships Manager who will become the "heart" of our Hub. This role is key to building and maintaining a vibrant and active community of our residents. We strive to intensively develop a network of representatives of civil society institutions and human rights initiatives, stimulate the development of partnerships, and form a stable community of like-minded people. And also - to expand its framework through interaction with various institutions, including business. Of course, at the heart of this line of work is the creation of an environment for the formation, development, cooperation and synergy among the human rights community in Ukraine, and for the dissemination of the human rights narrative to wider circles.

Main responsibilities

  • Building and supporting the community. Development and implementation (in accordance with the overall strategy of the Hub) of a strategy for attracting residents, their interaction and retention. Assistance to residents in finding partners for the implementation of their human rights initiatives, cooperation with other units of the organization.
  • Administrative involvement. Formation of work plans by direction, collection of current data, reporting (preparation of internal reports and the corresponding block of reports for donors).
  • Planning, organization and holding of events. Planning and holding of regular events, such as trainings, webinars, workshops, mentoring sessions, networking meetings, conferences, round tables, informal events, joint project sessions and other formats of events, involvement of external specialists and support of cooperation with them.
  • Internal communication. Formation of content for the community, in cooperation with the communication department, management of internal communication channels of the community (messengers, newsletters, etc.), informing residents about opportunities, news of the Hub, achievements of colleagues and other important content for the community.
  • External communication. Participation in the development of content about the community and its development for external distribution (social networks, website, third-party resources) in cooperation with the communication department.
  • Collection of feedback. Systematic collection of information from the community regarding their needs and making proposals for improving Hub services, conducting surveys, primary analysis of results, etc.

Requirements for the candidate

  • Experience in the field of communications, event management or community and team management from 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and initiative in finding new forms of interaction.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and with different types of people.
