Communicator to support the "Festival of Thoughts 2024" event in Shid SOS

The "East SOS" charity fund has been uniting those who care about the future of Ukraine since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, we have significantly expanded our activities in order to save as many victims of Russian aggression as possible. Our main values ​​are equality, tolerance and humanity, we broadcast them not only through activities, but also through team interaction.

We help the population in all government-controlled territories: we evacuate and resettle, repair shelters and centers for IDPs, document crimes, implement educational programs, provide charitable assistance , we carry out monitoring visits, advocate for changes, provide legal and psychological consultations. Mobile psychosocial support teams and safe spaces for women and girls operate in different regions of the country.

We are looking for a communicator:

Responsibilities:

• preparation of text materials about the "Festival of Thoughts" for the website and social networks;

• preparation of press releases, comments, columns, interviews;

• search for opportunities (information partners, mass media) to disseminate information about the event;

• fulfilment of other tasks aimed at increasing the visibility of the festival and the results of its holding.

We expect:

• experience with social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram) from 1 year;

• work experience as a communicator from 1 year;

• communication skills, ability to write easily and accessible;

• perfect command of the Ukrainian language, knowledge of English will be an advantage;

• basic photo and video skills for social media;

• respect for all people, understanding the rules of barrier-free communication and gender sensitivity;

• ability to create files in graphic editors (Photoshop, Figma, Canva).
