Communications specialist in DOPOMOGA UKRAINE

JOB DUTIES:

1) Media - management

• Establishing long-term relationships with local media (journalists, bloggers, photographers and cameramen);
• Processing media inquiries and cooperation with them to represent the organization;
• Organization of events for local media (press conferences, press briefings, etc.);
• Analysis of the media landscape of Ukraine, its impact on communication strategies and the development of media understanding of the communication team.

2) Content creation

• Creation and/or control over the creation of various materials, in particular audiovisual, for use in social networks, on websites , in mass media and other communication channels;
• Supervision of the development of local communication tools and products (postcards, brochures, radio spots, photos and video materials, etc.), in accordance with the local strategy and budget;
• Support in the selection of appropriate communication tools and translation of communication materials for the target local audience.

3) Media vigilance

• Tracking of local media and reporting on important articles, trends, news or reports that are important for the organization and its partners;
• Preparation of strategic reports on the media landscape (key media, audience, political affiliation, legal status, freedom of speech, use social media) and regular reporting on new events;
• Providing recommendations on cooperation with local media in crisis situations.

4) Content distribution

• Active distribution of the organization’s content through local and national mass media in Ukraine;
• Support for the creation and distribution of content for the international movement.

< strong>5) Internal communication

• Help in familiarizing personnel with the principles and materials of external communications;
• Information about potential risks of external communications;
< li>Training of representatives and teams on media landscape communications, media management and media work in Ukraine.

e) Reporting

• Participation in the collection of communication data and reporting as needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE:

• Higher education in the field of journalism , communications, public relations or related fields (willing to consider a student);
• Experience of 2 years or more in a similar position, as well as experience in creating content, in particular audiovisual, or working with local and national media;
• Skills in using video and photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere);
• Excellent writing and networking skills and the ability to effectively work with the media;
• A confident user word, excel and internet;
• Confident command of Ukrainianin Russian and English;
• Result orientation, stress management, communication skills.
