Communication Officer in ACTED

Our employees are always ready to respond to emergency situations, support and restore sustainable development through 450 projects in 39 countries.FunctionsPropose and develop communication and visibility materials (leaflets, brochures, factsheets, articles, photo stories, etc.), both in-country and in coordination with HQManage ACTED Ukraine social media accountsContribute to joint communication products with ACTED partners in UkraineSupport or lead the organization, moderation, and documentation of meetings led by ACTED (with partners) on communications mattersEnsure compliance with ACTED and donor communication and visibility policies/guidelinesInterpret and translate from and to local languages ​​to support mission activities as requiredSupport reporting of program activities in line with ACTED and donor requirementsPerform ad hoc research to support project development and other mission activities as requiredOrganize/support the organization of ACTED eventsRepresent ACTED in relevant fora – consortium meetings , cluster meetings, etc. RequirementsMandatoryBachelor's degree in Communications or related fieldProficient in the use of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applicationsWritten and oral fluency in English and UkrainianPast experience with or strong personal interest in humanitarian or human rights issuesRespect of humanitarian and ACTED core valuesPreferredSocial Media experienceKnowledge of photography/videographyConditionsOfficial employment according to the legislation of Ukraine; 3 months of trial periodCompetitive official salary determined by the ACTED tariff grid; Regular performance evaluation and salary increase; 28 working days of paid vacation per year; Friendly international team of professionals; Possibility of career development Medical insurance after 3 months of work with ACTED.
