We work with businesses that need customized solutions for managing large computing capabilities: major VoD platforms, Martech/Adtech platforms, Fintech, AI/ML training and computing, gaming industry and many more.

Responsibilities:

Development and support of the infrastructure of our cloud products
Technical support for customers ( L2) on cloud product issues
Conducting RnD for new functionality of cloud products; providing recipes for developers
Conducting in-depth diagnostics of problems that fall under the competence of SysAdmin
Optimization of OS, software for certain services
Selection of the most appropriate hardware for certain work tasks workload
Documentation
Transferring experience and knowledge to other specialists

Experience and knowledge:

Linux system administration experience at an expert level

Knowledge of hardware (disk parameters, types and principles of operation)

Understanding the principles of L2 networks, TCP/IP, routing, anycast

Great experience working with Apache, Nginx

Understanding the principles of CDN, DNS (authoritative, resolvers, geo-, anycast, etc)

Knowledge of at least one of the virtualization and containerization systems - KVM and/or other hypervisors, libvirt, docker

Experience with container orchestration systems - K8s, Docker Swarm

Experience with MySQL databases (+ replication), PostgreSQL (+replication), ClickHouse

Experience with RabbitMQ queue services, Apache Kafka

Ability to quickly deploy and configure Grafana/Prometheus stack

Experience working with ELK stack/Graylog

Resistant desire to automate everything, experience with Ansible, Terraform and shell knowledge

Interest and belief in cloud technologies

Desire to develop and learn quickly

Experience in technical support
Experience with OpenStack - Swift, Glance, Keystone, etc
