We celebrate genuine relationships and innovative mindsets. The Role:At VirtuE (https://www.virtuedeep.tech) we are ready to expand the team, and we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to work with our Engineering and Data team. You will design, develop, and manage our cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and add value to the data team by simplifying complex queries and introducing solutions on the database side.Your responsibilities in Infrastructure will include:Monitoring the health of AWS infrastructure using Cloud Watch and recommend/apply the needed optimizations to maintain high-quality products and lowest costs possible. Oversee the increase in costs and billings.Lunch new applications/services on Elastic Container Services ( ECS ).Maintain the load balancer rules to properly redirect traffic between different computing instances.Proposing best practices to enhance the scalability of our applications.Transform AWS step by step to TerraForm.Create failovers and disaster recoveries to avoid data loss or service interruption.Your responsibilities regarding the data team: Apply Relational Database (Microsoft SQL server ) queries to retrieve specific sets of data/reports.Check the Data frequently to report any anomaly detection or wrong value insertion.Help the data team to simplify complex queries by introducing solutions on the database side.What should you bring?Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.Hands-on experience with relational databases.Good knowledge of DevOps and how CI/CD pipeline works.Knowledge of Dockerization concepts.Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (such Terraform).Worked on Agile methodologies before and Jira.Big plus if you have knowledge on AWS Sagemaker and the MLOps.Tech stack:AWS Elastic container services.AWS Application Load Balancers.AWS Lambda Functions.AWS Cognito which is the Single-Sign-On.AWS IAM (the users permissions centre on AWS).Relational Databases & Microsoft SQL Server.Industry background:Experience in a technology-driven industry, preferably with exposure to cloud-based solutions and data management practices.What do all team members have in common?Intellectual curiosity.
