Clothing designer in BetterMe

We are looking for a fashion designer for remote cooperation in the freelance format.

This role involves the creation of new models and the development of production documentation and launch.

• Development of models in accordance with the technical specifications of the product team;
• Creation of moodboards, selection of color solutions, formation of the direction of the drop/collection;
• Preparation of detailed technical packages (sketches, measurements, description of construction, materials, accessories);
• Participation in the selection of fabrics and materials;
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop;
• Collaboration with the product manager and technical designer on fit and structural solutions;
• Examining samples and providing structured feedback for revisions;
• Meeting product calendar deadlines.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of experience as a fashion designer (preferred - athleisure, casual wear, activewear, sportswear);
• Understanding clothing construction and properties of different types of fabrics;
• Experience in preparing technical packages in English;
• Experience in working with factories and the sampling process;
• Understanding the principles of gradation;
• English B2 and above.
