Learn more .The Closing Coordinator handles all starts/permits and closings for the division. This position is responsible for working closely with and providing a communication link between the sales managers, sales representatives, construction, preferred lender and Title Company.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitesCoordinate all necessary documents, appraisals, and inspections with lenders and Title Company on pending loans.Review and distribute all daily starts with Operations leadership. Handle permitting processMaintain data entry for Starts and Closings report.Manage the daily starts and closings meetings – gather and update all pertinent informationManage pending sale process. Track sales reporting and open escrow.Coordinate contract process, including auditing of all contracts. Track Loan ApprovalEducation/Experience/Minimum RequirementsEducation: Minimum of a high school education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience: Prefer at least over 2 years of builder Contract Coordination and/or Starts/Permitting experience. Previous title company or lender experience also acceptable.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExceptional organizational capability, including the ability to multi-taskStrong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationshipsAction oriented, with the drive to push projects and tasks to successful closureProven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer’s perspectiveStrong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasivelyStrong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other’s ideas, and a willingness to cooperateMakes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metricsProficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Work RequirementsWork 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessaryConduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the companyFind out why KB Home is attracting and retaining the best employees!
