Cisco Network Engineer in SNT Ukraine

Description of the nature of work:

Performing work on analysis, development, and support of network solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Performing installation, configuration, commissioning and integration work corporate class networks;

- Configuration and maintenance of network equipment from Cisco and other manufacturers;

- Conducting a survey of the customer's existing infrastructure;

- Participation in meetings with customers to determine technical requirements projects, implementation processes, testing and commissioning of solutions;

- Participation in the preparation of architectural solutions;

- Development of documents;

- Development of network optimization recommendations;

- Introduction of new products into the network infrastructure;

- Support and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of Cisco and other manufacturers' line of equipment and software;

- Cisco CCNP/CCNA level of network technology knowledge;

- Experience with Cisco products;

- Understanding of network infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, switching, WiFi, Firewall;

- Understanding of technology and protocols: TCP/IP, VPN (IPsec, SSL), L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, DHCP, QoS, VLAN, Trunk, STP, RSTP;

- Experience with virtualization products: VMWare vSphere;

- Experience with Linux;

- Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell) - will be an advantage;

- CCNA, CCNP certifications will be an advantage;

- Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco DNA will be an advantage;

- Desire to learn;

- English - knowledge of the language at the level of understanding technical literature (pre-intermediate and above).
