POSITION PURPOSE:

Work closely with Mental Health Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Child Protection (CP) program leaders, work closely with local implementing partners , SC employees of the child protection department, employees of the education department, employees of the cash and voucher department, as well as employees of the support, finance, MEAL, advocacy departments to ensure the achievement of program goals goals A particularly important aspect is the provision of case management services in child-friendly spaces in communities through collective centers, transit centers and mobile centers.

At the program level, he/she will contribute to the achievement of SC's vision and overall program goals related to the sector. He/she is responsible for supporting the implementation of project activities and administration at the community level. The facilitator will support the implementation of measures related to the protection of children in need of protection according to vulnerability criteria, which include children unaccompanied by adults or separated from their families, children who are at risk and/or exposed to violence, neglect, exploitation, trafficking people, sexual and gender-based violence.

He/she will ensure healthy collaboration between the response service, families, local authorities and others departments. The social worker will adhere to existing child protection case management guidelines, standards, data management and information sharing protocol, and referral schemes to ensure a comprehensive solution to child protection issues.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of purchase requests and monitor their approval.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation related to program activities and ensure proper completion.
  • Maintain warehouse operations management, including inventory tracking and organization.
  • Perform quality control of program materials and resources for compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate communication and planning between program teams and external partners.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders parties.
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering calls, managing e-mail and scheduling meetings.
  • Support the logistics of program events, trainings and meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of program materials.
  • Ensuring efficient office operations and assisting with any other tasks required to support management program

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Important

  • Higher education in social sciences or related technical fields.
  • Knowledge in child protection in emergencies, child rights, programming and integration of child participation
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a similar context.
  • Commitment to and understanding of the rights of the child, the goals, values ​​and principles of Save the Children, as well as humanitarian standards such as the Field Guide and Code of Conduct
  • Ability and skills to conduct friendly child interviewing, communication skills and child protection needs assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing program priorities and emergencies that may arise.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in animation/organization of play activities with children.
  • Independent worker, able to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
