About the company and mission:
We are building an innovative B2B gaming provider with a focus on hyperscaling. Our business model is combinatorial game generation. We combine hundreds of certified mathematical slot mechanics with hundreds of meta-mechanics, mini-games and social-viral loops, resulting in over 10,000 unique titles. All art and animations are generated using advanced AI models with extreme cinematic detail. Our goal is to instantly relaunch games for any brand or demographic niche and respond to market trends in a flash.
We are looking for a technical visionary who can design from scratch an architecture that can withstand this scale, not collapse under the pressure of technical debt, and provide 30+ FPS on a weak mobile device while rendering dozens of "heavy" video assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- RGS and Game Server Architecture: Design from scratch a Remote Game Server (RGS) capable of handling thousands of transactions per second, ensuring absolute atomicity (idempotency) of payments in unstable network conditions.
- Scalable frontend (PixiJS v8): Development of an ultra-light, data-driven (Data-Driven) game engine based on PixiJS v8. Building a build pipeline (Monorepo) that generates thousands of game variations via JSON configurations without duplicating code.
- Innovative AI video rendering: Fix alpha channel video transparency issue in browsers. Implementation of custom shaders in WebGL/WebGPU and use of WebCodecs API to decode video frames without overloading the CPU.
- Compliance and GLI-11: Design of random number generator (RNG) and reel mapping in strict compliance with international certification standards (GLI-11, iTechLabs), ensuring no "near miss" (false loss effect) and correct management of critical logs.
- Optimization and assembly: Implementation of mechanisms of aggressive lazy-loading, asset streaming and dynamic atlas generation (@0.5x) for specific mobile devices to minimize VRAM usage.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Experience in iGaming from 5 years: Proven work experience as a technical lead or architect in a slot game provider studio. You have practical experience of integrations with large aggregators and passing certifications in laboratories.
- Expertise in PixiJS and WebGL/WebGPU: You don't just use ready-made APIs - you understand how to manage GPU memory, deal with WebGL context loss, and write custom fragment shaders.
- Architectural thinking: Experience with Monorepo, understanding microservice backend architecture, knowledge of distributed patterns transactions (Saga, 2PC, Idempotency keys).
- Performance: Deep knowledge of Chrome DevTools (Memory profiling, Heap snapshots) to detect memory leaks related to WebGL buffers and videos.
