Our client is the Kvertus company, a Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of electronic warfare and intelligence equipment. They have been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2017 and produce equipment used to protect military, civil and critical infrastructure facilities. We are looking for a STO (Technical Director) team.
Role:
You will manage the process of creating new products and improving the company's existing devices
Main Responsibilities:
- Ideation and prototyping of new defense solutions that neutralize, detect, protect and prevent a wide range of radio-electronic threats
- Research and development in the field of radio frequency (RF) technologies and signal processing
- Work on improving existing products
- Interaction with industry experts and partners to improve product offerings
Necessary technical and professional skills:
- Knowledge of the product life cycle, from concept to finished device
- In-depth knowledge of radio electronic engineering and radio frequency technologies
- Expertise in digital signal processing and wireless communication principles
- Familiarity with the latest developments in the field of unmanned technologies and protection mechanisms
- Ability to design and test radio frequency circuits, antenna systems and microwave components
- Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g. MATLAB, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio)
- Strong foundation in hardware engineering for prototyping and final product development

- Deep understanding and experience with various platforms and programming languages for embedded technologies.
Our candidate:
- Higher education (M.Sc. or PhD) in electronic engineering, radio engineering, physics, or related fields
- Experience in radio electronics design and development, preferably in a defense context
- Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills
