Chief Specialist of the Department of War Risk Insurance, State Housing Policy and Interaction with the IMF, Department of Financial Policy and War Risk Insurance in Ministerstvo ekonomiki, dovkillya ta silskogo gospodarstva Ukrayini

We are looking for a Chief Specialist of the Department of War Risk Insurance, State Housing Policy and Interaction with the IMF of the Department of Financial Policy and War Risk Insurance who is ready to work in a dynamic environment and shares the values of mutual trust, openness and initiative.

Basic responsibilities:

1. Conducting an analysis of proposals for state participation in investment insurance, in particular against military risks in relation to the impact on the country's economic development. 

2. Development of proposals, in particular projects of normative legal acts, regarding the improvement of legislation in the field of investment insurance, including against military risks. 

3. Preparation on a permanent basis of informational and analytical materials regarding the regulation and development of the insurance market of Ukraine and the state's participation in the insurance of investments, in particular against war risks, as well as progress in cooperation with the IMF. 

4. Preparation of responses to requests from enterprises, ministries, citizens, etc. Fulfilling the orders of the leadership, the Government, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine.

You are suitable if you have:

• degree of higher education not lower bachelor, junior bachelor
• fluency in the state language

Desirable:

• work experience in the field of public administration, finance, investment insurance;
• experience in writing projects of regulatory and legal acts will be an advantage; understanding of legislation in the field of national and international legal regulation, investor protection mechanisms and the specifics of insurance will be an advantage products;
• fluency in English; 
• high level of communication skills, ability to work in a team and effectively interact with state and international structures

Knowledge of:

• Constitution of Ukraine
• Law of Ukraine "On Public Service"
• Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption"
• Law of Ukraine "On Insurance"
• Law of Ukraine "On Institutions of Joint investment"
• Law of Ukraine "On Investment Activities"
• legislation in the field of investment insurance, including against war risks
