Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed intelligence before / during the entire NTO process;
- Liaise with relevant local government bodies, military units (including civil-military cooperation workers), the Emergency Situations Service, UN agencies, international organizations (eg ICRC, OSCE) and other humanitarian institutions
- Develop detailed work plans, weekly and monthly reports
- Compile detailed reports in response to identified Tasks
- Assist in the planning of ERW cleanup operations
- Direct the actions of other ERW team members
- Perform tasks assigned by the operations or project manager Assess the extent and impact of explosive remnants of war (ERW) contamination in the designated area and affected communities
- Provide accurate and reliable information on the nature and extent HAZ contamination and study all reports and areas suspected of HAZ contamination;
- Collect information to allow land to be classified as PMNR or PNR Collect information such as terrain, soil characteristics, climate, routes, infrastructure and additional facilities at the local level
- Produce analytical maps to assist in planning site clearance operations
Basic requirements for of the candidate:
- Experience in the field of NTO - from 2 years
- Valid NTO specialist certificate
- Required!!! Fluency in the Ukrainian language at a professional level
- Knowledge of the English language - level B1
- Driver's license (category B) - desirable
- Confident user of office software (Excel, Word, Google Drive)
- Skills in working with drones for observation and documentation
- High communication skills
- Responsibility, attentiveness, ability to work in team
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a similar position
