Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Pro recruitment

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to be an architect of operational excellence and a strategic growth leader for our miltech company. This is a role for a top manager who is able to transform complex challenges into polished business processes - from scaling production to managing multidisciplinary teams and implementing innovations.

In an environment with increased requirements for accuracy and security, the COO is the guarantor of the stability and efficiency of all operational cycles. You will be responsible for ensuring that every internal process works for the implementation of country-critical projects, and that legal, financial and production risks are minimized through systematic management. on digitization, high quality standards and strategic business sustainability.

Your key tasks:

• Strategic management and scaling: formation and implementation of an operational strategy to improve the company's efficiency and its exit to new levels of power.
• Building business process architecture: design, implementation and automation of end-to-end processes — from planning to execution control; development of internal regulations according to MilTech standards.
• Digital transformation: implementation and support of modern solutions (ERP, CRM, BI) to ensure full transparency of analytics, cost accounting and resource control.
• Leadership and change management: management of large teams, synchronization of interaction between departments (R&D, production, HR, lawyers), implementation of KPI systems and development of a culture of high performance.
• Risk management and Compliance: audit of operational risks, control of compliance of processes with DSTU standards and legislation, development of response plans for crisis situations.
• Strategic partnership: representation of the company in relations with state bodies, key partners and stakeholders at the national and international levels.

Competencies and expectations from the candidate:

• Experience: significant experience (from 5-8 years) in management positions in technological, manufacturing or engineering companies. Experience in the MilTech sector and successful business scaling cases will be a decisive advantage.
• Expertise in operations: deep understanding of modern production management methodologies, implementation of ERP/CRM systems and business analytics tools.
• Strategic thinking: ability to see a holistic picture, predict regulatory and operational consequences of management decisions.
• Risk management: work experience with crisis management, ensuring quality and safety standards in a complex environmentgulator field.
• Soft Skills: outstanding negotiation skills, the ability to form highly effective teams and represent the company at the industry level.
• Languages: knowledge of English at the Upper-Intermediate/Advanced level (for international representation).
