The fund’s investment focus spans software tech, including such areas as IT outsourcing, AI/ML, SaaS, Cloud, Ecommerce, Enterprise, IoT, and others.ROLE DESCRIPTION:A portfolio company of AVentures Capital is seeking an individual with a minimum of five to ten years of financial auditing, accounting, financial controller, financial management, or/and other finance-related professional experience. The portfolio company is a fast-growing IT service company with delivery in Ukraine and offices in Western Europe and Asia. Already at dozens of millions in revenue and 600+ employees, the company needs a highly professional CFO to join the management team, build and improve all financial processes. Candidates with work experience in a Big4 firm, in addition to industry experience, are preferred. The role entails working for a fund’s portfolio company in Ukraine, on a full-time basis. Candidates outside of Ukraine will NOT be consideredRESPONSIBILITIES:Improve the existing financial function within the company;Improve existing management accounts practice;Regular financial reporting to the management and shareholders;Build out an analytical function within the company;Financial analysis of the business, contracts, and projects;Build out the reporting with accordance to IFRS;Supervise the audit of the company by a professional auditing firm;Providing effective financial support to the company’s executive team;Assist with fundraising activities or liquidity event in case such an event is to happen.DESIRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS:Qualified financial, accounting, reporting standards, risk, and compliance experience;Relevant 5+ years of experience in Big4 in addition to industry experience is highly preferred;Fluent writing, reading, and communications English skills in addition to full working proficiency in Ukrainian;M&A and/or investment experience would be a big plus;Commendable work ethic, ability to work independently to produce results;ACCA or CPA qualification;Strong communication skills; both verbal and written;High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word;Ability to multi-task within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.Please, apply with a CV/Resume.
