Functional tasks:

• Ensuring the functionality of virtualization hardware and software components;
• Building and maintaining distributed VMware clusters and virtual services (private cloud);
• Automation in virtual infrastructures (maintenance and development of private cloud, container technologies);
• Planning and management of resources;
• Resolving incidents, identifying and eliminating problems, managing changes and configurations;
• Monitoring the state of all components;
• Increasing productivity and optimizing the use of resources;
• Regular status analysis and planning development of virtual infrastructures, server infrastructures, container technologies;
• Monitoring compliance with the license policy.

Our expectations from the candidate:

• Higher education in the field of knowledge: "Information technologies", "Mathematics and statistics", "Management and administration";
• English language level not lower than A2;
• Practical experience with VMware server virtualization and components. Practical experience in configuration, administration, and development of VMware vCloud Suite virtualization software (vRealize Operation Management, vRealize Automation, vRealize Business, NSX) to ensure the reliable operation of the enterprise's territorially distributed virtual server infrastructure (private cloud);
• Deep knowledge and understanding in the field of virtualization technologies, including virtualization of workplaces (VDI);
• Understanding the principles of monitoring, redundancy, and solutions problems of all components of the server virtual infrastructure;
• Desirable experience in designing and building and operating data storage and SAN (vSAN) systems;
• Knowledge of the principles of construction, operation and development of LAN/SAN/DNS/DHCP/AD;
• Skills in automating infrastructure maintenance tasks;
• Considerable practical experience in working with convergent and scalable (synergistic) solutions;
• Desired knowledge and skills of working with container technologynologies and their orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Platform, or similar);
• Practical experience in configuring, administering, and supporting Linux server OSes (RedHat, SUSE, CentOS);
• Innovativeness, creativity, proactivity, ability to work in a team for results, responsibility, desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
