They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company. The NCHL Board of Directors is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the next CEO of this 501(c)(3) association. The successful candidate will have experience with advocacy, member services, educational programs, media relations, membership recruitment and retention, employee relations, public policy development, and financial management. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a strong organization held in high regard by its members and numerous stakeholders, including local, state, and federal policymakers. This highly visible leadership role requires an authentic servant leader capable of bringing a diverse membership together to support a common set of goals. This position will report to the NCHL Board and help guide the Association and its members through the ever-changing healthcare industry, continuously delivering a strong value proposition. The NCHL Board is seeking a bridge builder and statesperson who has a passionate commitment to supporting its members and improving the future of healthcare leadership across the continuum of care. This leader will possess relevant healthcare industry experience to understand the opportunities and challenges its members face. He/she will also be better equipped to lead the development and implementation of a relevant organizational strategic plan and activate a high-performing team to achieve these goals, in support of NCHL’s mission. This role will lead a team of seven with two direct reports, consisting of Senior Director, Strategic and International Initiatives and Senior Director, Communications and Development. The NCHL team are all remote workers, therefore, relocation for the incoming CEO will not be required.
