Chief economist of the financial reporting department in Nacionalniy bank Ukrayini

National Bank of Ukraine is a modern independent state institution designed to ensure price and financial stability in the state and promote economic growth of Ukraine. We integrate into the international community of central banks, create an efficient and sustainable financial ecosystem for this purpose, promote the development of innovative financial technologies, increase financial awareness and inclusion of citizens. Functional tasks:

1. According to the direction of accounting methodology, of tax accounting and reporting:

• Participate in the development, preparation and submission of proposals for draft regulatory and administrative acts on the organization of accounting and operational activities of the National Bank, preparation of financial statements within the competence of the department;

2. In the direction of the formation and publication of the consolidated financial statements of the National Bank of Ukraine:

• Ensure the preparation of separate reports and notes of the consolidated financial statements of the National Bank (annual and interim), namely (Report on cash flows, notes " Other assets", notes "Other liabilities", notes "Cash and their equivalents", notes "Changes in liabilities caused by financial activities");
• Perform logical analysis for the correct reflection of these transactions by the relevant accounts of the National Bank's chart of accounts;
• Check information for the annual financial reports of the separate division and legal entities created by the National Bank, associated companies;
• Develop algorithms for the automated generation of financial reporting data .

3. In the field of financial asset management:

• Ensure the preparation of quarterly information on the basis of verification information regarding debtors whose total amount of debt is equal to or exceeds UAH 100,000;
• Compilation, submission and verification of the report on the classification of impaired/overdue receivables, significant financial debt of the National Bank by risk groups (except for the Mint);
• Preparation/verification of proposals to write off receivables from reserves;

4. To ensure continuous operation of the critical processes of the division in the role of a reserve employee of a key employee in the event of a circumstance, as a result of which the functioning of the National Bank in the regular mode is impossible or limited.

Our expectations from the candidate:

• Work experience from 4 to 6 years;
• Higher education. Complete higher economic education (master's degree, specialist) in the field of knowledge "Economics and entrepreneurship" with the specialties "Banking", "Finance and credit", "Taxation", "Accounting and auditing";
• The level of the English language is not lower than B1;
• Ability to analyze the financial statements of foreign banks;
• Skills in drawing up forms of reports and notes of financial reporting, in particular drawing up a report on the movement ofcash flow (direct method) using International Financial Reporting Standards;
• Preparation of statistical reports;
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (practical skills of working with calculation formulas) ;
• Knowledge of ABS Bars Millennium and SAP is desirable.
