Chief audit specialist (financial direction), D. Trading in DTEK, TOV, Energetichna kompaniya

D.TRADING is a customer-oriented business focused on reliable supply and provision of quality services in the field of energy resources (electricity, natural gas, gas condensate, coal).

Position functions:

• Participation in the formation of the annual audit plan
• Performance of planned and unplanned audits related to financial and management reporting, accounting operations and internal financial processes of the company.
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control systems: Analysis of existing procedures and policies for financial risk management, preparation of recommendations for their improvement.
• Preparation of audit conclusions and reports: Compilation of detailed reports based on the results of inspections with an indication of identified inconsistencies and practical proposals for eliminating deficiencies.
• Monitoring the implementation of recommendations provided by the audit results, conducting follow-up audits as necessary.
• Providing recommendations for improving the system of internal control of financial, management reporting and accounting processes, in accordance with changes in legislation or internal policies.

Education / qualification:

• Higher education (accounting and auditing, finance, economics, banking or other related economic areas). style="font-weight: 400">Experience in the field of internal audit, external audit, financial control or risk management from 2 years.
• Experience in checking financial and management reporting, knowledge of the requirements of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) will be an advantage.
• Working with ERP/ETRM systems or other accounting and management software (SAP, 1C, etc.).
• Experience of interaction with business units: finance, accounting, risk management, compliance.
• Participation in internal or external audits of companies in the field of trade, energy or finance.

Necessary skills and knowledge:

• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, preferably Power BI, SAP, 1C.
• Knowledge English language at Upper-Intermediate level and above.
• The presence of professional certificates (CIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, DipIFR or in the process of obtaining) will be an advantage.
• Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, analysis of costs and financial risks.
• Knowledge of the legal framework of Ukraine in the field of finance, audit and taxation.
