Chief Accountant for Colgate-Palmolive Ukraine in Akkaunting Hab, TOV

Main tasks:Maintain and consolidate the company’s accounting books according to the statutory regulationsManage tax accounting in accordance with UA tax legislationPreparation and submission of statutory financial, statistic and tax reportsPayroll calculation and accounting (HR documentation preparation is excluded)Prepare necessary reports for monthly/quarterly/year-end closing for both local and management booksCorporate income tax calculation and Corporate Tax reportingPreparation of Report on controlled transactions (transfer pricing notification)Reconciliation of Management and Local booksParticipation in the project (transition of SAP accounting system to the new platform, managing transition for local statutory and tax accounting, Support Finance Manager on other project matters) Prepare Statutory and Tax reports and submit them to State AuthoritiesEnsure proper documentation support as per Tax code for all accounting entriesProvide consulting on taxation matters to other departments (Customer Development, Customer Service and Logistics, Marketing, HR and others), including agreements reviewPayroll calculation and accountingParticipation in month closing (Accruals for payroll, fixed expenses, deferred expenses, CIT calculation and posting, Tax reporting to the Corporate, GL reconciliation)Development and implementation of activity for improving of accounting in reporting processesSkills and requirements:High degree in economics, finance, accountingKnowledge of national accounting standardsKnowledge and application practice of the Tax code of UkraineChief accountant position experience starting from 2 years, experience in accounting -from 5 years, preferably in international CompaniesKnowledge and experience with export/import business activityExperience of working with non-residents, including royalties, intercompany contracts, dividend payments, and repatriation taxes.PC literacy: preferably SAP (other ERP experience is also acceptable), 1C, MS OfficeEnglish- Intermediate levelStrong analytical skillsMust be proactive, prompt, precise and oriented on problem-solvingTeam management skills is a must
