Chief accountant (experience in SAP + spoken English) in EBS

The EBS company is looking for a Chief Accountant for its client,ToV Epirok Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• Control of accounting: monitoring of legislation, updating of accounting policies and adaptation of accounting and operational processes in accordance with current challenges and requirements;
• Organization of the work of the accounting department, control by reflecting on the accounting accounts of all economic operations;
• Reflection of transactions by period closing (monthly, quarterly, yearly), ensuring timely closing of the period in accounting, control over the formation of appropriate reserves in accounting;
• Preparation and submission of financial, statistical and accounting reports of the enterprise on the general taxation system;
• Recounting of taxes and fees provided for by legislation and control by inclusion in the budget; 
• Verification of VAT accounting on accounting accounts, communication with the outsourcing company regarding the preparation and submission of the VAT declaration on time (VAT is almost completely outsourced);
• Checking of accruals and reporting related to the payment of labor, communication with the outsourcing company regarding payment of labor (payroll is fully on outsourcing);
• Active participation in annual audits, preparation of audit documents;
• Working with regulatory bodies: scheduled/unscheduled audits, audits, response to requests of regulatory bodies;
• Interaction with other departments of the enterprise in cross-functional tasks;
• Working with banks: account maintenance, currency supervision, financial monitoring, ZED payments;
• Other duties assigned to the chief accountant in accordance with current legislation (ensuring inventory before drawing up reports), providing information and performing tasks at the request of the director and business controller.

Requirements:

• Higher education (accounting, finance, economics).
• Knowledge of foreign languages - English-advanced (spoken and written).
• PC knowledge: Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP (iScala), SAP BW.
• Experience of working as a chief accountant in an international company for at least 3 years.
• Experience in the field of foreign economic activity (accounting for export and import of goods, works and services), mutual settlements with non-resident counterparties.
• Ability to communicate promptly, perform tasks of varying complexity on time and with appropriate quality; attention to details.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team to achieve a common result.
• Good level of knowledge of national accounting standards and tax legislation of Ukraine; legislation on currency regulation
• Strategic thinking, optimization of processes, organization of effective teamwork.
• Cooperation with international auditors (big four).
• Basic knowledge of AI work skills.
