Position: Chief Accountant (Renewable energy projects)
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
Format of cooperation: Full-time / Employment contract

We have an interesting career offer for the position of Chief Accountant in a leading Ukrainian company in the field of renewable energy with the main office in Kyiv .

Our partner owns and manages a large portfolio of projects in the field of renewable energy in Ukraine, with a capacity of over 640 MW. The company focuses on the effective management of the operational activities of solar and wind power plants, as well as the development and construction of large wind projects with an emphasis on sustainable development and reducing the impact of harmful emissions on the environment. The company is also considering the possibility of using new technologies, such as Energy Storage, and the possibility of selling electricity without a "green" tariff.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to be a key member of the Finance team and be responsible for maintaining the accounting and tax records of several legal entities, as well as perform other important duties of this position as outlined lower.

Main duties:

• Accounting and tax accounting of several legal entities (6-7)
• Preparation of declarations about profit (quarterly, adjusting the financial result, filling out the RI application)
• Calculation of wages, preparation of payroll reports
• Preparation of reports in the National Economic and Social Research Institute
• Preparation of financial reports ( balance sheet, report on financial results)
• Preparation of income tax declaration
• Accounting of credit and currency transactions
• Accounting of fixed assets and TMC
• Forming a VAT declaration
• Tax administration, control of mutual settlements with the budget
• Organization and implementation of control over the timeliness and completeness of the statement and registration of tax invoices
• Participation in the preparation process and provision of information within the framework and during tax audits, requests of regulatory bodies, audits
• Preparation and provision of information at the request of counterparties

Qualifications and professional experience:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in the field of accounting, finance
• 5+ years of work experience in a similar or related position (energy industry will be a significant advantage)
• li> Experienced user of 1С-8
• Knowledge of BAS KUP will be an advantage

• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
