Certification Project Manager in Ajax Systems

Device development at Ajax is the responsibility of R&D, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.

Device Department development of devices for security and automation. And it also poses serious challenges in the following areas:

- Low-Power: devices should work as long as possible from standard batteries;

- Cost: mass product should remain in the range of the middle price segment;

—DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFH (Design for Human): Circuits, cases, and other elements should be easily replicated in hundreds of thousands of devices in production.

We are looking for a Main obligations:

• Lead end-to-end certification projects: plan, deadlines, risks, statuses, escalations
• Form the scope of certification by direction (what standards, what tests, how long do they take)
• Be the main contact person with the laboratory: launch the project, agree on the test plan, control dates, receive explanations, escalations
• Coordinate internal teams
• Collect documentation for certification and draw up additional specific certification documentation
• Process requests about the need to update certificates when making changes to devices
• Initiate and monitor payment of invoices for certification activities
• Budget and register planned expenses (budget management)
• Initiate and monitor the introduction of new types of inspections in production according to certification requirements
• Keep records of certification documents (Certificates, Reports, official letters, Declarations, etc.)
• Organize pre-certification tests at the request of RnD.

Requirements:

• English Upper-Intermediate (letters, calls, reports, technical discussions, lab visits)
• Experience in product certification/lab testing for electronics/IoT, quality audit
• Experience in sales/purchasing, customer/supplier communication
• Technical background (ability to understand what is a board, what is a processor for, a thermocouple, what is radio data transmission, etc.).
